What this app promises, what it works out for itself, and what it does not stand behind. Short, like the privacy page, and for the same reason.
Every week, bullet, goal and figure in this app is yours or is arithmetic on yours. No summary is generated for you, nothing you wrote is rewritten, and no screen contains a sentence you didn't type — with one exception, which you have to switch on and then open.
One screen, behind the Ask button, and it is a feature you switch on in Settings → What you're like. Open it and what you type, together with a summary of your own log, goes to Anthropic's Claude API so it has something to answer from. Nothing else in the app sends anything to a model. Leave it off and nothing ever does.
It has no way to write a week, edit a goal, tick a habit or alter a setting — it answers, and that is all it can do. What it says is a model's reading of what you wrote and can be wrong about it, so treat it as a second opinion on your own notes rather than as a record. It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice.
The same promise as the privacy page, said again here because this is the page people read it on, and it is unchanged: what you write is stored so it can be shown back to you, and Anthropic does not train on what is sent to answer you.
The life map is your date of birth and a life expectancy you picked, multiplied out. It is arithmetic on two numbers you chose, not a prediction about you, and no part of it is a forecast of anything.
These read what you logged, so they measure your logging rather than your life. A quiet week logged honestly and a good week never written down look the same to them. Treat a number that drops as a week you didn't write, not a verdict.
Every figure on Analytics is computed from the weeks behind it, so a month you skipped is a hole in the total rather than a zero in it. Nothing is corrected, estimated or filled in for you.
A display's weather, air reading and sunrise come from public forecast services for the place you picked. A forecast is a guess, an air reading is a nearby sensor rather than your street, and both can be hours stale or missing entirely.
If you connect a calendar or a task list, what a display shows is a copy fetched a little while ago. An event moved or cancelled in the last few minutes may still be on screen, and a connection that has quietly expired shows an empty day rather than an error. Check the calendar itself before you rely on it.
They are other people's, and they change, rate-limit and go down without telling this app. A display that has stopped updating is usually that, and it is not something this app can promise around.
Life costs nothing and comes with no warranty of any kind. It is offered as it is, with no promise that it is fit for a particular purpose, and no guarantee that it is available, correct or uninterrupted.
As far as the law allows, nobody here is liable for what follows from using it — a plan made on a stale calendar, or a year of weeks lost to a fault. If that is more risk than you want to carry, do not make this the only place a thing is written down.
Not medical, psychological, financial or professional advice. A life expectancy you typed is not a life expectancy, a mood you logged is not a diagnosis, and a score out of a hundred is not a judgement about how you are doing. If something you are tracking worries you, talk to somebody qualified.
Settings → Your data hands you every year as one file. The database is backed up, but the only copy you fully control is the one you took.
Screens, numbers and these terms move as the app does. Nothing here is a commitment to keep a feature, and continuing to use Life is how you accept whatever this page says at the time.
